Dear Elliot,
As I was blow drying my hair a few minutes ago, getting ready for bed, it dawned on me. The next time I take a shower, the next time I dry my hair, you'll be here. How do you even wrap your head around something like that?
In approximately nine hours, we'll be headed to the hospital. I have a feeling these are going to be the longest nine hours of my entire life.
It all just feels so surreal, knowing my life is about to be transformed in such a profound way. Just like everything changed after Stevie was born--essentially dividing my life into 'before Stevie' and 'after Stevie'--everything is about to change again. I have nine hours left 'before Elliot.' I can't wait to finally be at the 'after Elliot' point.
I love you beyond words and am so incredibly excited to finally meet you face-to-face and look into your eyes.

Oh my gosh this brought a tear to my eye. Enjoy the journey to your baby E. Lots of love and good vibes as you head into your 'after Elliot' life. It's an incredible moment getting to look your little one in the eyes for the first time.

I'm so excited for you that I, myself, may not sleep. It's both surreal, and so real at the same time- yes, both feelings can coincide..soak up the experience, it will be so wonderful to finally meet Elliot's sweet little self. Much love to you. I'll be thinking of you and your family tomorrow.

I usually just stalk your blog, but I just wanted to say how truly excited I am for you and good luck tomorrow. I just found out Monday that we are expecting our rainbow baby in November and there is such a feeling of happiness finally back in my home. I am sooo happy for you and can't wait to see the pictures of lovely Elliot and reading all about him. You and your family are very much loved. :D

I've been following your blog since May 2010 when I had my first miscarriage. Im now 30 weeks pregnant. I about burst into tears knowing that tomorrow you will be holding your rainbow baby...I am so happy for you...Congrats, and lots of prayers for smooth labor and delivery your way.
I realized half an hour ago that today is THE DAY for you and Elliot and I got so excited I actually started feeling a little dizzy! Haha I am so so so excited for you to see that adorable little boy tomorrow morning, rest assured I will not be able to think about ANYTHING else. Sending you and Andy and Elliot SO much love and good vibes! I hope the delivery goes quickly and easily and you get to have Elliot in your arms as soon as possible (he's certainly made you wait long enough, the little stinker!).
