Dear Elliot,
Just a really quick update on where we're at. I had my 38-week OB appointment today and you're still looking great! According to the ultrasound, you are measuring in at just under 8 pounds. Sounds like a perfect size to me!
I also found out I am up to 4cm dialated and 70-80% effaced. Pretty awesome that when I go into actual labor I'll already be like halfway done! :) My doctor did strip my membranes, too, so that may or may not get things moving.
My doctor also said you have dropped down quite a bit. Can you tell from the picture? I can definitely feel myself waddling more!
I'm not gonna lie--this week has been hard. I feel like I've almost reached my breaking point and my nerves are just shot. There have been lots of tears (mostly for no reason other than being emotionally drained). I am just so ready to have you in my arms.
Alright, little guy. Hope you're getting as excited to meet me as I am to meet you!
Love you,
Mom

You're so close!! Can't wait to hear of Elliot's arrival!
I am so excited for you and I can't wait to see pictures of Elliot. I swear it seems like it was only a few months ago I remember you announcing you were even pregnant again.
Not long to go now. You look so beautiful. And Elliot's a perfect size, I agree! I know these last weeks (possibly days?!) are so tough and anxious. I'm sure Elliot can't wait to meet his mama x
Yay you're almost there!! You look beautiful.
geez, I never was that dialated and effa
ced and NOT in labor. How far are you from the hospital? Like when it hits girl, you GO- no sitting around knitting booties or baking cupcakes and thinking you got all the time in the world! Yes you have dropped as well! ahh- how do you sit? When I looked like that, I was on one bun or the other!
Yes, you will go quick and little babe is going to be here before you know what hit ya!
You are so close... I know there are so many emotions towards the end, so much excitement and worry. Hang in there!
Yay! So excited to see his pictures!
Oh yeah, E has definitely dropped!
Love all the good news! I wish that the nerves of your followers (I totally hold my breath while your page is loading, LOL) could ease the pressure you're feeling.
Hugs!
I totally know those nerves and I sure hope he comes VERY soon. Your body is well on its way and that's crazy exciting.
Thank GOODNESS for Lovenox, right? We're ready to welcome you to the world, Elliot!
Oh, Kristin!!! I'm so impressed that you've progressed so far toward active labor. I hope having your membranes stripped speeds things along so you can hold your beautiful, healthy boy in your arms. Sending you much love and peace...
Sooo close. I was a nodule of nerves the week before delivery-just wanting my baby to arrive safe and sound. I'm looking forward to news of Elliot's arrival
Haha just reread my comment. Should have been bundle, not nodule
Bring GREEN! That boy could be a St. Patty's Day Baby!!!! Hooray. Seriously, I didn't get as far as you are and that was after 27 hours of labor!!! You go, girl! Can't wait to meet this sweet boy!!!!! xoxoxo
I have followed your blog ever since Stevie's birthday, and I am just so excited for you to have Elliot in your arms too! I think you are an amazing writer and have suggested your blog to friends that have lost babies too. Keep doing all of the great things you do and good luck with labor, I have a feeling that baby boy will be in your arms very soon!!!! Can't wait to see pictures!
Hi Kristin! You look wonderfully beautiful, healthy and happy. You are going to be snuggling, loving and nurturing Elliot in your arms any minute now! I'm getting teary because I'm so happy & excited for you :')
I started reading your blog in December of 2010. I had my precious baby boy 8/25/11, and my pregnancy was one of the most difficult times in my life. You have been such an incredibly wonderful inspiration to me, and your blog definitely helped me during some of the dark times. Reading your blog was one of the things that really helped me to see the beauty & light in that darkness. So, thank you.
((Hugs)) to you! You're going to do great!
I don't usually comment, but have been reading your blog since shortly after you lost Stevie. You're an amazingly talented writer and an equally amazing mother to both of your babies. He'll be in your arms before you know it. I keep checking for a labor or birth announcement!
So happy for you!!! Anytime now!!!
keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers and thinking of Stevie always...
I too have followed and not posted since we were on BBC Aug 2010..........I have tears of joy for you now!! I had my membranes stripped with ODS and two days later showed up at the hospital at 4 cm........45 min later he was in my arms....I am hoping for a similar speedy experience for you!! I can't wait to see pictures of your new sweet family!!!
hoping it will happen very soon!!!
I CAN'T wait to see this little man!! I am so happy for you and your husband!
Can't wait to see pictures of Elliot! Hope he makes his appearance soon and hopefully Logan will make his appearance early too! <3 Praying for you <3
Yes, he has definitely dropped. Sure hope you have a plan in place to update us as soon as possible when he comes. (I'm sure that's not your highest priority, but we are on pins & needles!) Best wishes - you are almost there!
that's awesome news! hope all goes well and EAS with labor. Good luck!
I have been checking your blog daily in hopes for a labor or birth annocement. I can't wait to see this lil boy. I'm sending you love and prayers in the days to come.
You look beautiful!!!!
Ok I think I am officially blog stalking you, hoping to see that beautiful little Elliot!
You are almost there! My birthday is Thursday, I am honored to know I will share a birthday week with such an amazing boy. Good luck! (labor was my favorite part of pregnancy, if you can get into a focused zone, a pain med free delivery is a breeze! I was induced with my first three, it is not bad )
Dropping in (for about the 70th time this week). Just wanted to say that I'm thinking of you. A *lot* of people are thinking of you and waiting with you and sending you love (seriously... you came up in a private FB group the other day, LOL.)
Hugs.
