Playing catch up

Dear Readers,
First of all, thank you so much for all the sweet and supportive comments on my last post. I was actually really scared to announce this new pregnancy, 1) because I know its inevitable that there are some that will feel hurt by it (I know because there was a point for me too where reading pregnancy announcements, even from fellow babyloss moms, felt like a punch in the gut), and 2) because I am so scared I'm somehow 'jinxing' it by putting it out there so publicly again. So scared that something's going to go wrong, that I'm going to have to grieve in front of the whole world again. So thank you all for being there to hold me up and cheer me on. I say it all the time, but I really can't imagine where I'd be without this blog, and without your love and support.

Anyway, like I mentioned before, I've been keeping a separate blog about this pregnancy since the end of July, but I really want to have everything in one place. So I'm going to start moving posts over here, so you can catch up on all the new baby drama :) FYI, I started referring to Baby Cook #2 as "Baby E" because both our boy name and girl name choices start with the letter E. More on that later!

I apologize in advance if a lot of what I've written so far is super whiney. I hate complaining about anything, because I am so, so happy to be given another chance at this whole motherhood thing, but I have been really, really sick. Like way sicker than last time even (and I swore then that there was no possible way it could get any worse!) I've just been having a very, very rough time. So please keep that in mind when you start thinking I've turned into an unappreciative little bitch (ha!)

Thanks again everyone! Hope you're all enjoying the long weekend.

Love,
Kristin

I completely understand your fear with this pregnancy, but know that we are all out here reading, praying, and pushing for you to get through this with a healthy baby.

I get it, praying for baby E to continue growing healthy and strong. Hang in there mama, hopefully the sick days will be over soon.

I can't wait to catch up on what's been going on so far this pregnancy! And don't feel bad for complaining. We all know how grateful you are for this baby.

I'm playing catch up on your posts, so I'll be commenting as I read. Don't apologize for what you call "whining" as hearing about the symptoms just makes me even more excited that you're pregnant!! Ok, of to read more...
